About Me

I am a Child and Family Therapist and Early Childhood Educator with 18 years of experience working in the home, clinic, classroom, and group settings. I specialize in working with children and families experiencing stress, adjustment issues, anxiety, loss/trauma, relationship conflict, and challenges in social settings. I have extensive experience working with young children with a variety of developmental variations, in particular children presenting with challenges in social communication, attentional difficulties, and behavioral differences.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and a master’s in education from Bank Street College of Education in Early Childhood General & Special Education. I received my BA in sociology and developmental psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Through my work in early intervention and CPSE, special needs preschool programs, and early childhood mental health clinics I have gained a deep understanding of the systems in which families are involved and how to navigate them. My educational and professional experiences have shaped my passion for promoting emotionally responsive and culturally informed practice in the fields of social work and education.
